Our wedding professional of the month for January 2009 is Margaret's French Bakery!

Margaret Novak is the owner and designer for the bakery, she is not only sweet *no pun intended*, but her work is exquisite, and the taste to die for!

Margaret's French Bakery originated as "Marjolaine French Pastries" established in 1983. Margaret's French Bakery is owned and operated by husband and wife team Margaret & Joe Novak. They have a beautiful new location you can go visit them at or you will also find them at local farmer's markets and festivals around the Bay Area.

While they specialize in wedding cakes and custom designed desserts, they can do just about anything including cheesecakes, pies, cakes for birthdays or any other occasion, truffles, hand-dipped fruits, cookies, petit fours, eclairs, and many other deserts and pastries. They can even create a custom dessert tray for your next social gathering.

All of their products are made from scratch, with the finest quality ingredients available. To place an order or do a tasting, please stop by their facility in Campbell or give them a call. In the near future, they will be able to accept orders through our website. All orders are welcomed and they accept cash, Visa and Master Card. They are open Tuesday thru Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or by appointment.

I just did a tasting with Margaret for one of my clients Adam and Ashley and they couldn't stop raving! She even offers little glasses of cold milk to you while you are tasting cake! My personal favorite? Devils food cake! She's the best at it!

Wedding Professional of the Month - November & December 2008!

Hi all,

Sorry for being absent for so long! It's been a longgg wedding season and we are finally taking a rest to enjoy our family and friends! We hope you are doing the same! I just can't wait to rev back up for 2009!

I all but work with them on every wedding we do, and I'm stupid for blogging about them because this could cause them to get all too booked up and busy to work for my clients, but, I want to be sure to share the wealth and the love with this amazing DJ company!

Also, just a little rant of my own here, folks, if you are having a band, please ask them specifically if they provide the correct equipment for ceremony and cocktail sound support, as well as sound support for breaks during the reception, and an MC for annoucements. I strongly suggest getting a DJ even if you are getting a band, and let them talk before the big day! They can make your wedding sound experience so much smoother!

This sprawling 12,000 sq. ft. estate can house up to 14 people, and intimate weddings of up to 75 guests can be accomodated.
